The Blade Pendant transforms the graceful forms of leaves and petals into a sophisticated sculptural light inspired by the lush tropical foliage of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Conceived and handcrafted in the Durban studio of Xavier Clarisse, the design showcases locally sourced, vegetable-tanned bovine leather shaped through a traditional embossing and pressing technique. The leather is specially treated for durability before being embossed and perforated to create its distinctive sculptural surface, then carefully folded into an elegant leaf-like form. A refined Bone and Gold two-tone finish adds subtle contrast, complemented by a brass closure and rayon cable. Ideal for entryways, dining spaces, bedrooms, living areas, and layered lighting arrangements, the Blade Pendant introduces organic artistry and tactile sophistication to contemporary, eclectic, and nature-inspired interiors. Its sculptural character also complements rustic lighting schemes beautifully. Bone/Gold is stock supported for immediate availability. UL-listed for dry locations and intended for indoor use only. LED bulb is not included.
