The Small Blade Pendant captures the graceful beauty of leaves and petals in a refined sculptural form inspired by the lush tropical foliage of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Conceived and handcrafted in the Durban studio of Xavier Clarisse, the pendant is crafted from locally sourced, vegetable-tanned bovine leather and shaped using traditional embossing and pressing techniques. The leather is specially treated for durability before being embossed and perforated to create its distinctive texture, then carefully folded into an elegant leaf-like silhouette. A dramatic Black and Gold two-tone finish provides sophisticated contrast, complemented by a brass closure and rayon cable. Perfect for bedrooms, entryways, dining spaces, living areas, and intimate lighting installations, the pendant introduces organic artistry and tactile warmth to contemporary and eclectic interiors. Its handcrafted character also complements refined rustic lighting schemes. Black/Gold is stock supported for immediate availability. UL-listed for dry locations and intended for indoor use only. LED bulb is not included.
