The Delicious Monster Wall Sconce transforms the dramatic beauty of tropical foliage into an expressive sculptural light. Inspired by the naturally split leaves of Philodendron Monstera plants found along the coastal regions of southern Africa, this distinctive piece is conceived and handcrafted in the Durban studio of Xavier Clarisse. Locally sourced, vegetable-tanned bovine leather is carefully shaped from a flat hide into layered, flowing fronds, supported by a stainless steel skeleton that gives the design its striking three-dimensional form. The Gold finish introduces a luxurious, luminous character, enhancing the organic contours while illumination creates a soft interplay of light and shadow across the sculpted surface. Part lighting and part wall sculpture, the Delicious Monster brings natural movement and tactile artistry to living rooms, hallways, bedrooms, entryways, and sophisticated hospitality spaces. Its organic silhouette complements contemporary, eclectic, and nature-inspired interiors while adding an artistic touch to refined rustic lighting schemes. Gold Leather is made to order with a 12–14 week lead time. UL-listed for dry locations and intended for indoor use only. LED bulb is not included.
